"The Kabare Farmers’ Cooperative Society owns 11 wet mills and has more than 400 hectares of coffee under cultivation Farmers selectively handpicked red, ripe cherries that were delivered for wet milling the same day. The parchment was fermented for 8 to 12 hours, washed and sun dried slowly on raised platforms until the moisture content was reduced to between 10 and 12 percent. The dry parchment was milled and bagged at NKG Coffee Mills.
