Designed specifically for espresso, Diego Spro is a purposeful collision of two legendary coffee origins. At the base, a washed Guatemala Huehuetenango is roasted to a medium-dark level to provide the foundational weight and structure necessary for a rich extraction. This high-altitude lot brings a deep, chocolatey resonance and a creamy mouthfeel that stands up beautifully to milk. To elevate the blend, we’ve integrated a washed Ethiopia Guji roasted to a precise medium. This second component acts as a high-toned aromatic topper, cutting through the density with a vibrant acidity and refined floral layers. The result is a sophisticated espresso that offers the best of both worlds: the comforting, sugary depth of Central America and the exotic, tea-like complexity of East Africa.
In the cup, Diego Spro is a study in balance. The darker-roasted Guatemala yields heavy notes of dark chocolate, toasted almond, and caramelized brown sugar, providing a syrupy base that anchors the blend.
